Join Tech Data's New Acquisition and Incubation team to develop the business for strategic partners. Acts as business owner for assigned Vendor Partner lines. Identifies and understands Vendor Partner's needs and strategic objectives. Able to build a business plan around those objectives and execute a profitable strategy. Knows and utilizes effectively internal and external resources and tools to accomplish strategic plans. Balances needs and goals of vendor with Tech Data's goals and initiatives.
Manages multiple Vendor product lines and is accountable for sales growth and attainment of profit goals. Owns the communication of Vendor Partner business strategy to internal partners (Sales, Purchasing, and Marketing Services). Ensures that internal partners are in alignment with those business strategies. Develops B2B go-to market strategies, focused on communications externally to the reseller community and internally to the sales organization. Develop thorough marketing plans that include but are not limited to, communication, engagement, incentive, call to action and follow-up for evaluation of success. Ability to quickly propose marketing plan adjustments based on business trends. Ability to identify and propose vendor product and customer segment alignment for optimal market planning. Ability to define strategic marketing plan objectives and deliverables. Analyzes and interprets raw data points to uncover new business opportunities. Interprets charts, spreadsheets and presentations to create marketing opportunities. Builds and maintains relationships with existing and new resellers. Provides Vendor Partner with access to new resellers. Meets and interacts regularly with Vendor Partner reps, management, and executives to make formal presentations on product trends, performance, profitability and results of product line promotions. Makes recommendations on a go-forward strategy. Participates in quarterly business reviews for their assigned Vendor(s). Works collaboratively with Purchasing to monitor purchase/pricing strategies for products. Works with Marketing Services department to develop promotional programs supported by Vendor Partner co-op funding resulting in product line growth and profitability. Provides responsive, courteous support to Sales, Vendor Partners, and other internal departments at multiple management levels. Requests would include areas such as pricing information, product roadmap inquiries, and program support. May provide administrative support in the way of SKU Set up, promotional setup, price changes and product characteristic change.*Performs additional duties as assigned *Meets attendance and punctuality standards

Required Educational: Bachelor Degree Previous Experience (Years & Type): Minimum of 2 years product management, Vendor Partner relations, sales, or marketing experience in microcomputer or related industry preferred.*Able to maintain confidentiality of senstitive information.
