    Field sales executive focused on partner’s success delivering cloud solutions to achieve growth, revenue and profit goals.  Identifies customer needs and applies Tech Data's value proposition to drive sales growth and improved profitability. Develops strategic relationships and aligns partner and Tech Data business goals, creating and managing a business and execution plan for shared success among the partner, customer, vendor partners and Tech Data.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

    •  Business Development
      • Develop profitable new business for Tech Data
      • Create new accounts for Tech Data either by acquiring new customers or by expanding existing customer base by marketing / selling new technologies.
      • Manage the onboarding of specified new customers
      • Responsible for meeting revenue, margin and profit goals associated with client base.
      • Contacts new prospects by phone or in the field facing to identify areas of opportunity.
    • Develops and implements individual account plans and an overall business plan to increase Tech Data's marketshare
    • Submits regular reports on performance, trends and expenses for assigned geographic region and accounts.
    • Drives to meet SLA goals assigned to ensure team meets daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly objectives
    • Demonstrates broad account and Cloud industry knowledge.
      • Understand, articulate and support delivery of Tech Data’s cloud value proposition across public, private and hybrid delivery models.
      • Owns and manages strategy for assigned partners. Ensure cross-divisional teamwork in order to leverage Tech Data’s value in achieving the partner’s business vision.
      • Develop strategic partner growth and enablement plans for cloud services with assigned partners.  Support inclusion of cloud services across public, private and hybrid cloud models in partner growth and enablement plans led by Tech Data regional sales.   Engage and leverage Tech Data’s vertical and technology market focused resources to deliver Tech Data’s solutions based value proposition.
      • Drive increased partner leverage of the Tech Data’s Stream One Cloud Platform to deliver cloud, software and related products and services.
      • Engage partners and suppliers in joint planning that integrates Tech Data services, programs and supplier partnerships securing partner commitment for investment in strategies that advance Tech Data's market position, entanglement and financial goals.
    •   Market Analysis / Research:
    • Assists in the analysis of available credit relative to goal achievement within the territory.
    • Evaluates competitive information, offerings, and customer needs and provides feedback to Tech Data and Vendor Partners.
    • Relationship Management
    • Drive loyalty to Tech Data / builds relationships
    • Maintains regular phone and mail contact with all targeted accounts.
    • Cultivates targeted accounts for future migration into the next customer segment. Oversees account management in terms of resolving and/or referring customer needs to the appropriate departments.
    • Builds influential face to face relationships with the target accounts and Vendor Partner's field sales team and key contacts.
    • Makes presentations to customer executives and regional vendor partner representatives.
    • Travels to and represents Tech Data at business partner events, seminars, trade shows and Tech Data marketing events.
    • Tech Data Product / Services Promotion
    • Promotes Tech Data or Vendor Partner technology tools for segment-specific sales and marketing programs.
    • Drives sales and promotion of all Tech Data specialized services.

    Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working Conditions

    7+ years high tech industry sales experience

    Required Educational:

    • College Associate Degree

    Preferred Educational:

    • Bachelor Degree
