Takes a leadership role to promote, enable and sell across Tech Data's entire HP Enterprise (HPE) portfolio through the management, leadership direction and support of assigned field-based TD HPE Business Development Executives (BDE’s). Identifies Tech Data HPE business opportunities and new services based on market research, trend analysis, and customer feedback. Conducts regular meetings with internal and external constituencies to explore, design and implement new business opportunities. Clearly defines scope, requirements and business concept for potential projects. Analyzes possible solutions including profitability, risk analysis, and leverage opportunities with related HPE product/service offerings. Develops business plans pertaining objectives related to enablement, recruitment and overall Tech Data HPE performance to P&L. Manages day-to-day activities and provides group leadership to a US Field team of HPE BDE’s operating to drive the development or operations of new or proposed sales enablement programs, partner recruitment and services. Participates in meetings related to development of overall business concepts and strategic fit. Maintains and enhances key customer relationships and develops new prospects among emerging leaders in the marketplace, all of which requires 50% travel.
