Drives and manages the procurement processes and relationships with all stakeholders to effectively support sales and marketing revenue and profit objectives: ensures product availability to sell by achieving specific fill rates and targeted levels of sell through composite gross profit dollars, drives and supports back-end rebates programs and differentiated cost opportunities. Manages and protects the inventory assets of the company to minimize inventory related financial exposure. Devises, builds consensus and executes on plans and methods to achieve high customer (internal/external) and vendor satisfaction relative to inventory and asset management. Reduces costs and increases efficiencies within the supply chain. Plans and performs purchasing duties for assigned vendors regarding either lower volume or less complex or less strategic product lines. Provides additional support to a purchasing team in designated purchasing activities, as requested.
