    As a Repair Technician 1 you will analyze, troubleshoot, repair, and resolve technical problems at the board/component level on analog and digital equipment. A base knowledge of electronics at the component level is all you need to know. We will provide you on the job training to bring you up to speed on all our products. Our product line typically consists of CATV plant transport and distribution Amplifiers, power supplies, Fiber transport/distribution equipment including but not limited to transmitters, receviers & EDFA's. 


    Job Type: Full-Time 

    Job Location: Columbus, OH

    Shift Times: 7am-3:30pm or 9am-5:30pm (your choice)

    Salary: $15.00/hr to $16.00/hr depending on experience with self paced advancement opportunities correlated to higher performance up to $20.00/hr.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

    Candidates for this role should be able to perform the below:


    Principal Responsibilities

    • Troubleshoot and repair electronic components at board level on analog and digital equipment.
    • Recommends replacements or repairs as appropriate.
    • Perform equipment and component cleaning, regularly scheduled maintenance services and equipment calibration.
    • Perform equipment set-up as needed.
    • Complete documentation itemizing services and updates related logs, e.g., inventory, environmental.

    Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working Conditions

    Work Experience

    • Typically less than one year

    Education and Certification(s): High School Diploma or equivalent


    Distinguishing/Preferred Characteristics

    • Specific department may require specialized certification, e.g. A+.
    • May require standing for prolonged periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
    • Position may require travel.
    • Overtime may be required based on business need.
