    The Sr. Business Development Rep develops and grows the high-level marketing business relationship with vendor and reseller accounts for end user marketing activities through TDAgency, and is responsible for positioning and selling TDAgency integrated marketing campaigns targeting end user decesion makers.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

    • Makes executive pitches, develops sales presentations and conducts regular sales meetings with vendor and reseller marketing executives to position and sell TDAgency’s Reseller Connect end user marketing services
    • Conducts market and competitive intelligence and research to build and prepare comprehensive marketing proposals that achieve corporate and sales objectives
    • Ensures clients remains satisfied, updated and informed of all their current campaigns as well as new opportunities, through regular interactions with the client on a weekly basis.
    • Works closely with product marketing, industry analysts, financial reporting, creative services and executive management. Works in partnership with TDAgency team members to ensure creative briefs, deadlines and project work is completed with highest quality standards, and delivered on time and on budget.
    • Acts as leader and mentor to other individuals on team. Responsible for mentoring new hires for at least 90 day period.
    • Researches innovative marketing and demand generation technologies and programs to ensure clients receives state-of-the-art services and the highest quality leads
    • Assumes a strategic and advisory role and leverages advanced technological expertise to achieve specific marketing and demand generation sales goals, market and mindshare goals and quantifiable business results for each client
    • Keeps TD management informed by submitting activity and pipeline reports, such as daily call reports and goal tracking, weekly work plans and monthly/quarterly financial analyses. Leverages organization’s CRM tool (SAP Customer OnDemand) for opportunity and financial tracking.
    • Maintains current Company, customer, technical and professional knowledge.
    • Additional duties as assigned
    • Meets attendance and punctuality standards

    Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working Conditions

    Previous Work Experience:

    •  Desire 2-4 years related Agency, IT Channel, or technology experience
    • Desire 6-8 years professional work experience



    Required Educational:

    •   BA Degree preferred or equivalent years of   experience required


    Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:

    • Ability to position and sell TDAgency end user marketing solutions to vendor and reseller marketing contacts
    • Strong presentation skills required
    • Strong communication skills required
    • Strong leadership skills required
    • Ability to initiative, develop, and grow new business relationships with vendor and reseller contacts
    • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to Tech Data, vendor, and reseller executives
    • Ability to clearly articulate what marketing objectives are and how they will be achieved
