    Manages the day-to-day and strategic operations of the Dell EMC product marketing team, sales, and administrative members, in their efforts to strengthen and create strategic opportunities at the vendor and customer level. Assists in formulating and implementing the product marketing strategy for product line groups in order to drive vendor and customer programs. Owns the relationship and profitability of assigned vendors. Works directly with Sales and Marketing Services in order to increase sales growth and attain profit goals for assigned product lines. Develops strategic business partnerships with key vendor partners. Responsible for the revenue and profit goals for assigned vendor partners.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

    • Manages the day-to-day and strategic activities of the Dell EMC team that supports a specific technology, product lines or customer segment to ensure sales growth and attainment of profit goals.
    • Manages a diverse team focused on product marketing and sales with emphasis on business development/account development for assigned vendors.
    • Assists in formulating and implementing the product marketing strategy for product line groups.
    • Interacts regularly and conducts meetings with all levels of vendors to discuss product trends, performance, profitability and establishment of new marketing strategies.
    • Assists in developing sales and profit goals for assigned product lines.
    • Manages the increasingly complex relationships with the vendors and forges strategic alliances with these major vendor partners.
    • Develops and implements new strategies to gain new markets, map product trends and technology in order to enhance the strategic partnership with the vendor.
    • Oversees market planning, forecasting and other research of existing and new product markets in order to identify potential opportunities.
    • Serves as a liaison to Sales and Marketing Services in order to assess the long-term potential of markets and to establish product promotions. Responsible for partnering with other internal divisions/operations to help in the management and resolution of day to day issues related to the Product Marketing business.
    • Interacts with accounting to manage co-op dollars, price protections, promo collections etc. Plans, organizes, assigns, oversees and evaluates the work of the Product Marketing team members to ensure the attainment of the Product Marketing divisional goals and the adherence to the company shared values.
    • Trains, develops, coaches, recognizes, awards and interacts with staff to achieve high individual and team performance and engagement levels, job satisfaction and retention, and support professional growth within the organization.
    • Owns personnel processes and decisions.
    • Works in collaboration with division management and HR regarding: hiring, separations, performance management, and career development solutions.
    • Performs additional duties as assigned
    • Meets attendance and punctuality standards
