    The Global Business Project Manager will develop Supply Chain Management Solutions (SCMS).  In support of a rapid and profitable growth, the candidate will be respobnsible for the success of proposed supply chain programs having significant financial impact to the organization with final responsibility for success across all impacted areas of the programs.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required


    • This (non IT) general classification has varied situational applications which all require specific extensive expert level technical knowledge and leadership in the successful design, development, implementation, and operational management of large global supply chain programs that have significant financial impact to the organization.
    • Exercises independent judgment and is given the authority to make decisions as it
      pertains to assigned "global" supply chain programs.
    • Analyzes requirements to develop project plans and produce quarterly business reviews specifying goals, attainment, strategy,
      scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available
    • Prepares outlines and project timelines for selected proposal and develops related
      data and documentation requirements as appropriate including; program/project status
      reports, customer information, requirements documents for each assignment
    • Leads interface with subject matter experts to ensure technical requirements and
      proposed solutions are compelling and accurate.
    • Ensures developed information is consistent with all required program standards and
      consistently incorporates required business results objectives.
    • Prepare outlines and project timelines for selected project segment efforts and
      researches alternatives for best solutions.
    • Prepare a variety of periodic and ad hoc reports for technical management and
      business groups and distribute project related data and documentation as
      appropriate including; project status reports, vendor/customer information, and
      requirements documents customized for each specific new project segment
    • Creates customized graphics that support tracking and documenting program
      development milestones against defined standards.
    • Makes recommendations for adjustment to program processes to improve
      opportunity results including financial.
    • Serves as the primary interface on program owernship, issues regarding expectations and program
      deliverables developing and maintaining project documentation and managing
      project issues, decisions and risks, including escalations.
    • Direct and coordinates activities of assigned program personnel to ensure program
      success and profitability providing leadership and motivation to
      program team members throughout global network.
    • Provides leadership mentoring and leadership to the proposal team assisting in
      defining and obtaining performance metrics.
    • Participates in resolution of issues regarding quality, consistency, responsiveness,

    • Provides support to balance individual and team workload demands.


    Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working Conditions

    Work experience requirements:

    • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressively more responsible experience in a
      Supply Chain, Distribution or related industry environment.
    • Minimum 3 years demonstrated growth experience in creating and delivering complex project with
      significant financial impact.

    Education & Certification Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Marketing or a related field
    • Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent project management or process
      certification;have an equivalent combination of formal education and directly
    • related work experience.

    Distinguishing Characteristics:

    • This is a senior contributor having significant impact on business financials


    Knowledge and Skill:

    • Demonstrated ability to think critically and draw from several resources to create
      clear and concise project documents.
    • Demonstrated success in utilizing project management skills and solid
      understanding of project management methodologies, tools and techniques in
      specific projects.
    • Business analysis experience.
    • Implementing effective organization skills
    • Attention for detail and exceptional writing abilities in extensive
      document development
    • Professional Written, oral and presentation skills
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft tools including Word, Visio, PowerPoint
    • Successful project completions that required team building and
      coaching skills with the ability to foster strong working relationships between
      project teams, user communities, management and vendors.
