Manages contract negotiations and document processes for Purchasing, Sales, Product Support Group, FO Ops, Tech Data Education, etc. Reviews, revises, drafts, and negotiates Customer-related volume purchase/buying group agreements (less than $100 Million), rebate agreements, as well as Product Marketing-related modifications. Provides advice to Sales and other related departments regarding business issues/risks. Negotiates Strategic Initiatives agreements. Assists in developing mitigation strategies, and negotiates to obtain favorable contract terms. Identifies process improvements, participates to implement continuous improvement initiatives. Researches/prepares responses to RFP, RFI and RFQs. Performs contract compliance functions including the review of agreements, implementation of terms and audit of selected databases. Supports Contracts Department in a variety of tasks which include termination reviews and processes, review and interpretation of contract terms, SOX research/reviews and other project work.
