Drives creation of marketing related communications needs of the HPE business group. Communicates the company’s competitive advantage using a wide range of advertising and communication media to promote the sale of company products and services and further the company’s sales objectives. Such activities may include the following as well as other duties as assigned:
Plans, implements and develops new marketing ideas and communications projects for business group and partners.
Provides guidance to businesses in developing and executing communications programs including product advertising.
Prepares communications material for internal and external use on products, services, business plans and management communications.
Determines and uses the most effective communication media to sell specific products or services.
Leverages web marketing, trade show activity and other marketing efforts of other business units.
Coordinates with vendors to produce promotional materials, marketing collateral, websites and other marketing communications materials.
Job Level Specifications:
Fluent knowledge of current market solutions (3rd and upcoming 4th Platform) and HPE Products and Services.
Extensive knowledge and application of principles, theories and concepts. Complete knowledge of all job functions and the broad industry best practices, techniques and standards.
Develops solutions to complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of variables. Determines best method to achieve results and may make suggestions to improve policies and procedures.
Work is performed without appreciable direction using independent judgment and discretion. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. Work may be reviewed at a high level. Might supervise 1 - 2 individuals who provide tactical/operational support.
Represents organization as a prime contact on projects or contracts. Interacts frequently with senior professionals and management and often has to coordinate the work between departments or organizations.
