    What you’ll do: The Solutions Consultant- Cisco will:


    • Build out a solid strategy and tactics and manage go-to-market plan for all Cisco Solutions
    • Develop Cisco solution positioning, messaging, and company voice that attracts and converts prospects and leads.
    • Develop a deep understanding of our target customer and the market, e.g. buyer personas that provide structure and insight for the company and be able to execute on findings
    • Build out strategy and tactics and manage go-to-market for all new solutions and features
    • Partner with internal teams (Sales, product marketing, engineering and Cisco) to develop GTM programs, e.g. customer segmentation and profiles, pricing, competitive positioning, marketing programs
    • Ensure on-brand storytelling and copywriting for products across all marketing, content, and social media

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

    • Conduct market research, profiles customers, presents and participates in sales and marketing opportunities to establish customers relationships
    • Responsible for marketing program development, enablement, implementation and education
    • Lead trainings for new and current Cisco/Tech Data employees (Solution Consultants, Brand Marketing Managers, Business Development Reps, etc)
    • Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to increase market share and profitability
    • Develop business plans and presents quarterly business reviews to management and vendor
    • Research market conditions to determine potential sales of assigned technology products.
    • Call on potential customers and coordinates enablement presentations helping them connect with channel account managers
    • Assume an advising role and leverages advanced technological expertise to achieve specific results in the assigned market
    • Evaluate competitive information, offerings, and customer perspectives. 
    • Highly Collaborative amongst various internal and external stakeholder
    • Ability to manage various Stakeholders on projects
    • Ability to turn strategic revenue and business unit goals into actionable initiatives
    • Ability to build out a Go To Market strategy and must be able to execute on plan.
