    Provides classroom, one-on-one, and on the job training. Demonstrate effective classroom management. Conduct presentations and training seminars. Responsible for course scheduling, mentoring and tracking all attendance by employee, course, and departments. Develop efficiencies relating to business process and procedures.

     

    Educate Colleagues:

     

    Must educate employees at all levels, including senior leaders and external partners, on Agile principles, providing them with tools for implementing the process in their own work. The role includes providing training sessions and teaching valuable skills that lead toward the organization-wide adoption of Agile methodologies.

     

    Mentor Team:

     

    Position is responsible for guiding teams into the Agile methodology, providing employees with feedback and means of improvement, catalyzing organizational growth and answering questions. This role supports all employees.

     

    Develop and Implement Agile Adoption Strategy:

     

    Responsible for designing and implementing a strategy for organization adoption of the Agile methodology. Must use techniques that increase collaboration, predictability, transparency, and promote a culture or experimentation and innovation. 

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

    • Provides effective and professional IT training using a variety of delivery methods
    • Create and maintain user documentation to support courses delivered
    • Perform administrative tasks such as dealing with requests for support and training and provides solutions to deliver effective training
    • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of existing technologies in use and learn new systems or improvements to current software as required.
    • Actively contribute ideas for initiatives and innovations using the latest technologies and improvement of documented processes in place.
    • Proactively manage own time and assist others in the training team to balance workload.
    • Create and maintain training manuals and job aids
    • Collaborate with company customers, staff, IT colleagues and other stakeholders to identify user requirements
    • Develop efficiencies relating to training procedures and policies and formulate course material and teaching outlines
    • Contribute to a work environment that fosters positive results and attitudes
    • Show a clear understanding of expectations and demonstrate the ability to work effectively as a team member
    • Must be assertive about adherence to Agile processes and enthusiastic about Agile practices and their benefits
    • Great interpersonal skills, teaching abilities, and a capacity to inspire and motivate

    Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working Conditions

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

     

    • High School/G.E.D. required
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • IT experience or having worked in an technology environment preferred (Agile experience highly preferred)
    • Capable of creating curriculum and training materials
