    The marketing coordinator assists product marketing in the coordination of marketing activities for Tech Data's Vendor Partners. Responsible for administrative support in order to execute the Vendor Partner's business plan, marketing strategy and participation within marketing activities, programs and campaigns, including the processing of marketing jobs, material & POP collection and claiming.


    Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

    • Notifies respective internal clients/vendor partners of deadlines and upcoming activities.
    • Monitors assigned marketing activities to ensure timely and accurate completion.
    • Reconciles assigned jobs as well as provides updates in a tracking database.
    • Tracks and understands budgets, discretionary funds, and travel funds for marketing programs and campaigns. Ensures marketing material submissions meet the ad or market requirements, then routes to appropriate project specialist teams
    • Collaborates with the necessary product marketing and TDAgency teams when needed which includes coordinating meetings.
    • Assists business partners and internal clients with all e-mail and/or phone call marketing activity questions.
    • Monitors marketing inventory and vendor partner marketing activity slotting.
    • Responsible for all marketing activity proof of performance. Opens, closes and reconciles assigned jobs as well as provide updates for financial forecasts.
    • Works with COOP accounting to ensure timely billing of vendor priors and pulls the necessary reports from internal database.

    • Able to use relevant computer system applications (which may include spreadsheets, word processors, databases, etc) at an intermediate level.
    • Previous Experience (Years & Type): Degree in position discipline preferred.
    • Agency and corporate marketing experience preferred.
    • Able to perform the necessary skills with MSO databases relating to job performance and tracking.
    • Able to maintain confidentiality of senstitive information.
