    Ensures comprehensive end to end testing is conducted for all projects, enhancements, support and maintenance initiatives across IT. Assists in defining and documenting the test environments, the creation of test scripts, creating, executing and maintaining automated test suites, coordinating defect tracking and analyzing test results. Acts as primary liaison between the IT and business communities for testing activities.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

     

    • Reviews and analyzes business and system requirements to identify proper testing techniques
    • Participates in testing meetings to determine scope, objective, risks, mitigation strategies, hardware and software requirements for each scheduled work effort
    • Utilizes HP Mercury Tools Suite (Quality Center test Director, WinRunner, QTP, Load Runner etc.) for creating, storing and automating test scripts, defect tracking, load testing, etc.
    • Operates as part of project team by verifying the environment, creating test data, conducting quality assurance meetings and providing daily status reports on testing tasks
    • Mentors business and IT internal and external personnel on testing processes, procedures and templates
    • Maintains and monitors licensing availability to ensure Tech Data Corporation is compliant with the HP Mercury tools suite contract

      Performs other additional duties as assigned by Manager
    • Able to converse and write effectively in English

    Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working Conditions

    Required Educational:

    • Bachelor Degree

    Previous Experience:

    • Recommended education: Bachelor's degree in English or related discipline.
    • Advanced knowledge and understanding of Microsoft applications as well as HP Mercury Tools Suite (Quality Center test Director, WinRunner, QTP, Load Runner etc.)
    • Experience with Agile Methodology
