    Job Summary: Accountable for end to end customer engagement for cross brand solutions that drive revenue growth, profitability, key business metrics and secure customer satisfaction across multi-vendor solutions. Responsible for analyzing and understanding the customer?s needs and aligning company offerings and resources to meet those needs.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

    Principal Responsibilities:

    • Functions as the primary point of contact that engages with the customer to create a positive relationship and identify opportunities to provide converged solutions. Primary operational point of contact for converged solutions opportunities and activities.
    • Creates and delivers proposals to the customer that promotes Tech Data?s full portfolio of product and service offerings
    • Provides forecasts to integration and communicates changes in forecast as needed to maintain delivery of product to the customer based on the Customer Required Date (CRD).
    • Uses subject matter expert (SME) knowledge, judgment and discretion to identify applicable programs, promotions, and add-ons as a Trusted Advisor to build customer relationships and effectively market the broad range of Tech Data?s product portfolio.
    • Delivers solutions (configurations) to the customer leveraging internal resources to effectively configure, price, quote, order and process requests for all brands aligned with partner's and supplier's Service Level Expectations (SLE's).
    • Utilizes customer interface opportunities to fully engage with the customer to better understand the needs and market the appropriate solution. Identifies options available to enable additional ROI or limit negative financial impact resulting from change.

    Job Level Specifications: Demonstrated ability to manage to customer focused program requirements within a team environment utilizing influence to gain needed support. Strong written and verbal presentation and communication skills. Demonstrated customer skills working with both external and internal customers. Demonstrated knowledge and application of operations processes and techniques including a thorough understanding of supplier and Tech Data logistics and the impact on the supply chain, customer requirements and ROWC Demonstrated process management skills. Proficient in the utilization of the MS Office products.

    Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working Conditions

    Work Experience: 

    Three years of progressive experience including selling, promoting solutions to customers in a technical or product support role within a computer products, system solutions-related distribution business or similar role.


    Education and Certification(s): Associate Degree in business, marketing, computer science or related field or an equivalent combination of formal education, training and directly related progressive job experience. Product and supplier certifications as required.
