  • Overview

    This position performs essential functions within the Channel Services team.  The Channel Services team assists in enabling pass through funds from Vendor Partners to Tech Data Resellers.  The Channel Services team is responsible for the financial regulatory control requirements and ensures that pass through funds meet all audit requirements prior to financial posting.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

    • Completes detailed analysis of end user claim submission for assigned vendor/s.
    • Analyzes prior sales, and previous claim submission to determine eligibility of end user sales promotion.
    • Understands assigned vendor requirements and program scope to ensure all claims meet Tech Data and Vendor Partner requirements.
    • Establishes and maintains good working relationships with internal and external contacts.
    • Ensure all proper SLAs are met per Tech Data and Vendor Partner agreements.
    • Provides reports and documents to internal and external customers as needed and in accordance with established Tech Data policies and procedures.
    • Identifies processes and procedures that could be improved to increase efficiency and/or eliminate redundancy, unnecessary or ineffective activities. Provides training and support to vendor accounting team.
    • Assists with special projects.
    • Performs additional duties as assigned.
    • Meets attendance and punctuality standards.

    • Required Educational: High School/G.E.D.
    • Some College preferred.
    • Approximately 1-3 years experience in Accounting, Finance, or Accounting Systems 
    • Works independently with appropriate level of supervision.
    • Uses collaborative thinking with assistance from manager or other Analysts.
    • Senior level position Possesses strong organizational, time management, and good prioritization skills in driving tasks to completion.
    • Quickly determines source of problem and identifies information needed to solve problem.
    • Diagnoses problems efficiently and makes sound, timely decisions.
    • Demonstrates a sound knowledge of the business areas and the ability to understand business issues within their particular role.
