  • Overview

    Support BPC 10.1 upgrade project until go-live.  Provide EPM reporting expertise training and support to the team. Lead team in updating existing reports from BPC 7.5 to BPC 10.1 EPM and in testing backward compatibility of existing reports. Support VBA assisted reporting and testing. Post go-live: Provide analytical support to corporate accounting systems reporting on Worldwide consolidated financial information, including regional support for Americas, EMEA and APAC. Develop complex reporting for assigned area/department/division. Prepare and analyzes ad hoc financial performance reports. Proactively identify and recommend solutions to business issues or system issues. Represent assigned area/department on strategic projects such as BPC system conversions/upgrades and business process changes.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

    • Support BPC upgrade project with KPI/logic testing, data migration and validation, report testing and redesign and various other upgrade tasks.
    • Manage designing, writing, testing and maintaining various complex financial reports and ad hoc requests, including writing and maintaining complex excel macros.
    • Provides management and other departments with accurate, timely and useful communications, including reports and analysis to enable them to make appropriate decisions.
    • Drives continuous improvement initiatives within the group and cross departmentally.
    • May assist with WW forecast consolidation processes including review of regional forecast submissions, top level adjustments, eliminations, reporting, etc.
    • Ad hoc analysis for management.
    • May assist with other corporate financial applications such as BlackLine (used for account recons & journal approval tracking).
    • Assist with preparation of quarterly management reviews and forecast reviews.
    • May assist with BPC updates or upgrades, including any data migration and validation, report updates, etc.
    • Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with other departments across multiple countries.
    • Actively takes part and provides relative contribution in all team tasks to ensure the final objective is met.
    • Promotes a customer service focused environment in support of internal customers.
    • Additional duties as assigned.
    • Meets attendance and punctuality standards.

    Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working Conditions

    Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:

    • Knowledge and application of Intermediate/Advanced Excel required. VBA knowledge preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of SAP-BPC upgrade from BPC 7.5 to BPC 10.1 (Business Planning and Consolidation) report design and maintenance required.
    • Experience with BPC 10 implementation or upgrade a plus.
    • SAP experience desired but not required.  Familiar with data extraction using SAP T-codes and BW queries (Business Warehouse).  Ability to build webi or Crystal reports and to query SAP data using Analysis for Microsoft Excel tool.   
    • Strong knowledge of BW report development using webi, a plus.
    • Knowledge and application of Intermediate PowerPoint.
    • Ability to automate report development through the use of macros.
    • Largely self-directed, able to seek out objectives and complete them with minimal management input
    • Initiate projects and set timelines as well as expectations.
    • Assign duties and resources where necessary to achieve success.
    • Analyze data required to recommend business solutions as well as constantly identify new sources of business data.
    • Forecast impact of each solution and implement best solution.
    • Measure impact after implementation and adapt solution as necessary.
    • Ability to apply broad knowledge and experience when addressing complex issues as well as define strategic issues clearly despite ambiguity. Ability to make sound, timely decisions.
    • Balance strategic and tactical goals and objectives.

    Education/Experience Required:

    • Bachelors degree plus approximately 3 - 15 years’ experience in Accounting, Finance, or Accounting Systems in specific job area or function
