  • Overview

    Prepares US international tax filings.  Assists with domestic tax compliance, including preparation and review of federal/state income tax returns, extensions and estimated tax payments. Prepares foreign tax provisions and subsequent return to provision reconciliations. Assist with foreign and/or US projects as needed.

     

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

    • Prepares US international tax filings.  Assists with domestic tax compliance, including preparation and review of federal/state income tax returns, extensions and estimated tax payments.
    • Prepares foreign tax provisions and subsequent return to provision reconciliations. Assist with foreign and/or US projects as needed.
    • Prepares international US tax related filings.
    • Prepares international quarterly and year-end provision packages and supporting documentation.
    • Prepares international return to provision reconciliations and true-ups and tracks local country tax filings accordingly.
    • Assist with all aspects of the US and foreign provisions (in accordance with ASC 740), including review of SEC tax disclosures, income tax provision entries, deferred tax analysis and FIN 48 liability analysis.
    • Assists with international tax planning projects.
    • Assists with Sarbanes-Oxley tax requirements.
    • Assists in negotiating and/or communicating with tax consultants, as needed.
    • Assists with expatriate tax issues and compliance.
    • Helps to maintain all tax planning, compliance and tracking tools.
    • Assists with development of tax modeling for specified market/countries.
    • Researches tax issues to assure compliance for federal, state and country requirements.

    Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working Conditions

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree or above required.
    • CPA with 5+ years public and private/corporate tax accounting experience desired.
    • Strong tax accounting knowledge (ASC 740, FIN 48, FAS 123R);
    • BPC and ONESOURCE experience desired. 
    • Experience in corporate tax accounting including consolidated returns for federal and state purposes.
