    General Summary of Job:

    • Provides analytical support to the financial and operational reporting and analysis for the global IT organization.
    • Develops complex reporting and provides budget management for IT Finance.
    • Prepares and analyzes ad hoc financial or operational performance reports and models.
    • Pro-actively identifies and recommends solutions to business issues as a consultant.
    • Represents IT Finance on strategic and tactical projects.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:                        

    • Performs financial analyses for internal customers and ad hoc analyses for management with a focus on global headcount and strategic resource planning.
    • Manages the annual operating plan and periodic budget forecasts in partnership with IT Executive leadership.
    • Works with models for analyzing new business opportunities, efficiency initiatives, or other business issues.
    • Performs cost/benefit and ROI analyses.
    • Maintains systems applications and recurring reports, including troubleshooting issues.
    • Compiles and loads data received from other departments utilizing spreadsheets, databases, and business intelligence applications.
    • Leads team in preparation for management reviews and budgeting activities.
    • Validates accuracy of reported values.
    • Maintains management reports. Distributes reports. Tests and maintains management reports. Designs reports.
    • Analyzes trends. Develops presentations and leads presentations/trainings.

    Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working Conditions

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Education Required:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance plus minimum of 5 years’ experience preferred or Master’s Degree plus minimum of 3 years’ experience preferred
    • Previous experience in financial planning and analysis preferred
    • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all management levels
    • Ability to initiate projects and set time lines as well as expectations, assigning responsibilities, and defining scope of project as well as steps for completion.
    • Knowledge and application of advanced Excel and intermediate Access minimum, preferred basic knowledge of SAP ERP, SAP business intelligence tools, and IBM Cognos TM1.
    • Understand P&Ls, cost accounting, and operational levers.
    • Analyze data required to recommend business solutions as well as constantly identify new sources of business data.
    • Forecast impact of each solution and implement best solution. 
    • Make sound, timely decisions.
    • Balance strategic and tactical goals and objectives.
    • Understands corporate objectives at all levels of the organization.
    • Builds solid and effective working relationships with others.
    • Able to display assertiveness and a high level of self-confidence.
    • Able to create and conduct formal presentations.
    • Listens to customers - identifies, meets and is sensitive and responsive to their needs.
