  • Overview

    The AWS Partner Enablement Consultant is a subject matter expert in channel partner enablement specific to the AWS partner base. Works with Tech Data Cloud Sales team, Vendor Management team and Education team to ensure new AWS partners are successful by helping them with their go to market and by helping them understand and navigate AWS policies, procedures and tools and how to meet the requirements to reach expected tiers as it relates to the AWS Partner Journey.

     

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

     

    • Calls on assigned partners and coordinates enablement presentations.
    • Establishes relationships with key partner stakeholders critical to partner success and to meet defined key performance indicators.
    • Works with partners to develop enablement plans and targets for completion. 
    • Knowledgeable in and advises partners on the certifications needed and how to get the certifications for various competencies through Education sales.
    • Knowledgeable in and advises partners on proof of concept funding options and expectations.
    • Knowledgeable in and advises partners on marketing opportunities relevant to helping to meet partner enablement goals.
    • Develops and maintains a catalog of program related materials and instruction.
    • Captures and systematically documents best practices that emerge relating to materials development, content distribution, sessions and events, partner relationship management.
    • Implements processes to capture and track program content delivered and partner progress.
    • Participates, develops and/or supports Tech Data advanced technologies market activities, trade shows & events as assigned.
    • Participates in other sales, marketing and support activities as required.

    • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.
    • Exceptional communications skills – written and verbal. Able to present to all levels and audiences.
    • CRM experience preferred
    • Experience in cloud computing sales or support preferred
    • AWS Accreditations preferred
    • Bachelor Degree or equivalent is preferred

    Required Educational:High School/G.E.D.

    Preferred Educational:Bachelor Degree

    Previous Experience (Years & Type):

    -      4+ years relevant (vendor expertise) and advanced systems, technology, and industry experience.

    College Degree

    Working Conditions:Professional, office environment.Some travel may be required
