Acts as business owner for assigned Vendor Partner lines. Identifies and understands Vendor Partner's needs and strategic objectives. Able to build a business plan around those objectives and execute a profitable strategy. Assumes direct P&L accountability for assigned vendor lines. Remains responsive to changes in market conditions and implements plans to maximize performance and results by recommending high potential new markets and vendors. Knows and utilizes effectively internal and external resources and tools to accomplish strategic plans. Balances needs and goals of vendor with Tech Data's goals and initiatives. Serves in a leadership role within the group and mentors other product managers.

Previous Experience (Years & Type): Minimum of 4 years product management, sales or marketing procurement or vendor relationship experience in microcomputer or related industry preferred.
Generally requires applicable Tech Data work experience.
