  • Overview

    Responsible for Maverick internal and external sales motion into channel. Pro Av industry expert responsible for strategic sales strategy within a specialized high touch business division. Responsible for promoting and selling Tech Data Maverick's solutions and services through the management, direction and support of assigned Territory Managers. Identifies business opportunities and new services based on market research, trend analysis, and customer feedback. Responsible for sales growth targets, profitability and customer quality and breadth. The person filling this role can live anywhere in the U.S. 

     

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

    • Meets quarterly objectives -revenue, gross profit percentage and solution specific quotas. (25%)
    • Interacts regularly and conducts meetings with Field Personnel and all levels of constituencies to discuss business trends, performance, profitability and results ongoing operations (25%)
    • Makes planned visits to established accounts, local professional events, and trade shows.  (25%)
    • Conducts extensive market research campaigns and trend analyses to stay abreast of current industry trends and market demands. * Understands how industry trends and market demands relate to Mavericks business and creatively develops new correlative services and solutions to maintain a robust menu of meaningful services for our constituencies.  (15%)
    • Analyzes potential solutions for profitability, risk/exposure, fit within Maverick's overall business strategy.  (10%)

     Experience:

    • 5 to 8 Years of relevant work experience.
    • 5 to 8 Years of experience directly managing / supervising employees.

    Education & Certifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Preferred specialization in ProAv, UCC "Unified Communication and Collaboration" field of study.

    Working Conditions:

    • Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
    • Frequent Travel Required (50%).

    Preferred Experience:

    • Able to converse and write effectively in English and Spanish.
