  • Overview

    Delivers proactive support of Human Resources (HR) programs, processes, applications, policies and administration by providing quality solutions to inquiries and requests. Applies working knowledge and understanding of HR principles to assist team members, managers and customers. May support one or more functional areas within HR including employee relations, talent acquisition, talent management, compensation and benefits, learning/training and operations. In some regions, may also support payroll.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

    Principal Responsibilities: 

    • Supports operation of one or more human resource functional areas
    • Provides first level response support to managers, team members, employees and other customers
    • Receives inquiries and responds to requests following appropriate policies and practices; provides basic interpretation of policies
    • Participates on and provides coordinative support to project teams and collaborates with other team members to achieve deliverables
    • Establishes standards and procedures for handling team member questions, transactions and administration of programs
    • Coordinates events or employee programs 
    • Prepares correspondence and reports
    • Inputs or maintains data relevant to processing employee data changes
    • Maintains documentation or records within appropriate systems
    • Determines best method(s) to resolve issues ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies and practices as well as legal regulations
    • Works cross-functionally with other departments (as required) to coordinate customer resolution

    Job Level Specifications:

    • Applies general knowledge of the organization, job content, practices and procedures. Has acquired the knowledge and skills necessary to be proficient in all aspects of job.    
    • Performs functions moderately complex in nature and recognizes the need to apply various methods to accomplish tasks.         
    • Work is performed independently under minimal supervision except for new assignments.
    • Sets priorities for performing work and managing time to complete tasks.     
    • Interacts with peers and direct management. Some exchange of information with other internal departments or work groups is required to perform role. Based on nature of the role, may frequently field requests from others in the organization or externally.   
    • Impact of decisions may affect the department.
    • Errors may result in moderate loss of time, resources and customer/user satisfaction.

    Experience:                                                                                     

    • 2 plus years in Human Resources

     Education/Certification:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
