Directs the daily operations of a team of product management and cross-functional personnel operating together to support HP Inc. Manages the development of strategic, profitable business to achieve the desired growth and business objectives. Oversees product research and forecasting in order to identify new markets.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

  • Directs and provides leadership to a product management team and Product Sales Champions to ensure consistent and rapid growth in revenues and profit with a large, complex vendors and to drive vendor and customer programs.
  • Develops and recommends short and long range strategic, divisional goals and objectives consistent with organization guidelines.
  • Manages the increasingly complex relationships with the vendors and forges strategic alliances with these major vendor partners.
  • Develops and implements new strategies to gain new markets, map product trends and technology in order to enhance the strategic partnership with the vendor.
  • Supervises, coordinates and delegates merchandising, marketing, promotional and support activities performed by product marketing team and through dotted line relationship with technical support, channel sales and marketing personnel, who are either funded by the vendor or dedicated to the product line.
  • Works in conjunction with support organizations to monitor pricing strategies and contract negotiations in order to increase market share. Calculates business measurements including market share, sales growth, composite margin, coop/MDF utilization, and resource and expense budget attainment.
  • Oversees management of all personnel activities including hiring, training and evaluating team member's performance to ensure high quality staffing, employee development and equitable administration of personnel programs.
  • Reports to the Vice-President, Product Marketing on the status of product management activities with assigned vendors.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned
  • Meets attendance and punctuality standards

Minimum of 8+ years product management experience is preferred.
