Performs daily administrative management of assigned vendor lines. Develops and builds solid relationships with assigned vendors. Serves as a liaison to Sales and MSO in order to assist with the design of sales and product promotional strategies to enhance line performance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

  • Ensures accuracy and timeliness of all Vendor Partner orders. Understands Returns process and guidelines.
  • Monitors Returns status daily
  • Manages all promotions ensuring budget availability and correct authorizations.
  • Monitors expirations dates.
  • Timely set-up and accuracy of new part numbers.
  • Assists with the development of marketing strategies in order to drive vendor and customer programs.
  • Performs market planning and forecasting in order to identify new opportunities that will increase market share.
  • Provides responsive, courteous support to sales, vendor partners and other internal departments.
  • Works collaboratively with Purchasing to monitor purchase/pricing strategies for products.
  • Works with Marketing Services department to develop promotional programs supported by vendor co-op funding resulting in product line growth and profitability.
  • Assists Product Marketing and Marketing Services with the development of marketing strategies in order to drive Vendor Partner and customer programs.
  • May manage smaller product lines and is accountable for sales growth and attainment of profit goals.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned
  • Meets attendance and punctuality standards

Previous Experience (Years & Type): Marketing/purchasing experience not necessarily required due to being an entry-level position in Product Marketing division.*Able to maintain confidentiality of senstitive information.
