  • Overview

    Drives enablement cadence for assigned Vendor Partner lines through vendor product/services/support knowledge, special projects execution and outbound appointment setting. 

     

    **This person will lead projects focused on the design and delivery of partner enablement roadmaps that drive competency in the Tech Data partner community.**  Serves as Tech Data's expert on the Vendor Partner's product line and assists with partner enablement, education, and training needs.

     

    Develops and builds a strong relationship with the Vendor Partner and Tech Data's inside and field Sales teams and the reseller community for vendors' products. Identifies ways, through projects, to increase partner capabilities/health to drive market share and overall profitability.

     

    Owns projects from inception to completion including reporting on successes and on ways to improve.

     

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

    • Design and delivery of partner enablement roadmaps that drive partner competency 
    • Out bounding to resellers to set enablement appointments
    • Customer enablement through training, webinars, and vendor support to grow the frequency and yield of current resellers. Frequency means increasing the number of orders from each reseller. Yield means increasing the average amount per order.
    • Serves as an escalation resource for quick and efficient problem resolution related to partner enablement
    • Internal and external customer service for matters including order processing, returns, vendor product information and programs.
    • Team and sales training and leadership activities to improve the overall team and sales ability to help customers with vendor line
    • Special projects to Improve customer experience in the areaof enablement
    • Performs additional duties as assigned *Meets attendance and punctuality standards

    Education & Experience Required:

     

    Minimum High School diploma/GED required

     

    2+ years relevant work experience
