    BSP Software, a division of Tech Data, a leader in providing Cognos BI Analytics automation software is seeking an Application Developer with solid windows and web development experience using Microsoft tools including Visual Studio, C#, JSON, XML, and javascript to help us expand our current software suite. Join our small motivated team that is fully remote.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

    Principal Responsibilities: Applies solid knowledge and understanding of design, code, and debug within a SOA industry development standards and testing techniques. Works in the middle and UI teirs of the software and develops Restful web services.  Required to work on an agile software development team with self-motivation and customer support distractions. Working knowledge or MS SQL Server, XML, and Windows application development is required. Troubleshooting customer issues and being comfortable in a collaborative setting where a combination of Kanban and Scrum is used to track and measure software development performance. 

     

    Additional Responsibilities may include:  Knowledge of Asp.Net Web development, Java, JavaScript, and React experience is nice to have for this position.  Working within Oracle and DB2 databases, along with source control, and IBM Cognos knowledge may be required to learn.   

    Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working Conditions

    Work Experience: Typically 3-5 years with Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

     

    Required Knowledge: Windows Application Development, C#, MSSQL, XML, IBM Cognos knowledge is a plus
