Takes a leadership role to promote and sell Tech Data's products and services through the management, direction and support of Solution Practice leadership. Identifies potential analytics business opportunities and new services based on market research, trend analysis, and customer feedback. Conducts regular meetings with internal and external constituencies to explore, design and implement new outsourcing business opportunities. Clearly defines scope, requirements and business concept for potential projects. Analyzes possible solutions including profitability, risk analysis, and leverage opportunities with related product/service offerings. Develops business plans and performance to P&L. Manages day-to-day activities and provides group leadership to a team operating to support the development or operations of new or proposed programs or services for both Inside and Field sales as assigned. Participates in meetings related to development of overall business concepts and strategic fit. Maintains and enhances key customer relationships and develops new prospects among emerging leaders in the marketplace, all of which requires 30% travel.
* Achieves quarterly objectives as assigned by the Vice-President of Analytics. Meets revenue, gross profit percentage and product specific quotas. * Makes planned visits to established accounts, local professional events, and trade shows. * Develops a variety of workable solutions for given opportunities in the areas of: Solutions design, Consultative Support, Program Management and Project Management. * Conducts extensive market research campaigns and trend analyses to stay abreast of current industry trends and market demands. * Understands how industry trends and market demands relate to Tech Data's core business and creatively develops new correlative services and products to maintain a robust menu of meaningful services for our constituencies. * Analyzes potential solutions for profitability, risk/exposure, fit within Tech Data, overall business strategy. Defines scope and requirements of potential projects. * Develops business plans and performance to P&L. Leverages opportunities with existing products/services and provide package solutions wherever possible. * Prepares and presents findings and recommendations to Tech Data management. * Interacts regularly and conducts meetings with Field Personnel and all levels of constituencies to discuss business trends, performance, profitability and results ongoing operations. * Serves as leader for the team operating in matrix organization with dotted-line relationships with various departments within Tech Data.*Performs additional duties as assigned *Meets attendance and punctuality standards

Strong demonstrated abilities in Finance, Quantitative Analysis, Marketing, Operations, and Strategic Planning. * High Tech Field Sales Management experience from either major resellers, system integrators, OEM, or PC Distribution marketplace desired.*Able to maintain confidentiality of senstitive information.
