1pm to 5pm on Fridays. If possible, they should also work from 8am-11am on Mondays. Most weeks no other hours are required, however flexibility is beneficial if they can be a backup for when the full-time center administrator is unavailable during other parts of the week.

Overview

Performs set-up of computer systems and software, maintains classroom environment and assists with troubleshooting at our training facilities creating an optimum classroom experience for clients. Such activities may include other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Repositions computers from one area to another and sets them up by attaching the necessary peripherals.
  • Ensures computers are up and running with correct operating system and software.
  • Troubleshoots any unforeseen technical issues with in-center staff and remote system administrators.
  • Maintains an accurate equipment inventory.
  • Maintains communications with System Administration team if unable to complete or if further assistance is needed, when problems are encountered during a setup.
  • Cleans classrooms including whiteboards, desks, keyboards, monitors, etc. and ensures classroom environment is orderly and organized.
  • Perform some clerical activities to support the operation of the training center.

Job Level Specifications:

•Acquiring basic knowledge of job content, practices and procedures. Still learning skills necessary to fully perform job. •Performs functions that are routine in nature with minimal complexity or variation.

•Works is performed under supervision and receives detailed instructions to perform tasks. Follows priorities provided to them for performing work.

•Interacts mostly with immediate peers within assigned work group. Limited interaction and information exchange with other work groups may be required to perform role. Based on nature of the role, may field requests from others in the organization.

•Impact of decisions is typically contained within assigned work.
