Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

  • Helping to plan, develop and execute internal and external marketing activities designed to increase awareness and drive sales of Tech Data Integration Services.
  • Identify scenarios or areas where new marketing business opportunities can be offered to vendor partners.
  • Partner outreach – engaging reseller partners and our Sales team directly to communicate the Tech Data Integration Services value proposition.
  • Helping to implement internal SharePoint for the LA Export division for Sales and PM project and promotion initiatives can be shared in an effective and productive way.
  • Process Improvement - Will learn the training sales process and help uncover opportunities for improved methods of reaching and transacting with internal and external clients.

 

Specific deliverables will be structured along the lines of: (this would be following a couple of weeks of training)

  • Once a week emails to Sales promoting specific training products
  • Once a week emails to Product Marketing promoting specific marketing vehicles or bundles with specific objectives to generate ROI for vendor partners and Tech Data Latin America division
  • Minimum 4-8 hours per week making buddy calls with Sales team to target accounts for the purpose of identifying correct contacts, needs as relates to training, and timeline for when a given customer may want a follow up call; and identify effective ways to maintain lead contact information from the Sales stand point
  • Participation in the implementation of TS101
  • Development of new collateral to support marketing efforts in Social Media and Corporate Communications

 

 
 

Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working Conditions

  • Be a current college student or recent graduate (within the past year)
  • Be able to work in the United States without sponsorship after intern is over.
  • To being eligible to start your internship, you will be subject to a background check and drug screen
