The Cisco Solutions Group at Tech Data is looking for a seasoned Solutions Consultant that is an expert that will be tasked to work with our strategic customers to assist in enabling their Sales and Technical teams to proficiently sell Cisco Solutions into the market. This person will be knowledgeable in Cisco and have fundamental Sales and Engineering knowledge around Cisco technologies. In addition this person will have Technology certifications either with Cisco or comparable to Cisco certifications.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Enabling our customers to successfully sell Cisco solutions into the marketplace
  • Responsible for conducting 1:1 training with our customers around Cisco Solutions
  • Attends and speaks at Events and Tradeshows on Cisco Solutions
  • Develops strategic business plans and presents quarterly business reviews to management and Cisco
  • Evaluates competitive information, offerings and customer perspectives.
  • Develops and implements enablement activity to increase market share and profitability

  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.

Required Educational:High School/G.E.D.

Preferred Educational:Bachelor Degree

Previous Experience (Years & Type):

-      4+ years relevant (vendor expertise) and advanced systems, technology, and industry experience.

College Degree

Working Conditions:Professional, office environment.Some travel may be required
