Overview

Develops and grows Tech Data market share in the assigned market or technology segment. Conducts market research in order to profile customers/vendors and determine revenue potential. Works with assigned vendor partners to develop unique value propopistions that activate the targeted partner base. Works closely with Product Marketing, Marketing Services, Sales and Tech Support to design and implment go-to-market strategies and tactical plans that achieve established Company objectives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

Conducts market research, profiles customers/vendors, makes presentations and participates in sales calls and marketing events to establish customers and determine market segment revenue potential. Develops strategic business plans and presents quarterly business reviews to management and vendors. Researches market conditions to determine potential sales of assigned technology products. Calls on vendors, develops and coordinates sales presentations and secures prospect commitments on TD Volume Purchase Agreements. Assumes an advising role and leverages go-to-market expertise to achieve specific business development goals in the assigned market.

 

Evaluates competitive information, offerings and customer perspectives. Participates, develops and/or supports Tech Data market activities, trade shows & events as assigned. Is well versed in content creation and content marketing tactics.  Develops and implements marketing and sales strategy for securing and/or increasing market share, sales and profit.

 

Keeps Management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as weekly work plans and monthly/quarterly financial analyses. Maintains current Company, customer, technical and professional knowledge.*Performs additional duties as assigned *Meets attendance and punctuality standards

Required Educational: High School/G.E.D.*Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
