Supplier Solutions:

Product Marketing:

 You’ll be part of a team that provides IT & Consumer Electronics to customers by supporting and accessing some of the most exciting and innovative technologies in the world.  The Product Marketing team plays a critical role in supplying, marketing, selling and supporting essential technologies such as client based systems, digital signage, peripherals, software and accessories.  Partnering with leading manufacturers like Apple, Dell, HP, Lenovo, LG, Microsoft, Samsung and many others.  Product Marketing is the team helping to build the foundation of cutting-edge IT solutions for today and tomorrow.

 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

 

 

What you’ll do:

 

Responsible for conducting outbound sales calls to sell vendor partners’ products to customers (resellers, MSP’s, Service Providers; etc..) in order to achieve sales quotas.

The position will apply professional selling techniques, including strategic business planning, comprehensive customer profiling, daily pipeline management, and closing techniques to achieve solutions quota. 

 

Business Development:

  • Partner with sales organization to create strategies to penetrate accounts.
  • Communicates externally with manufacturers and customers to develop profitable business relationships.
  • Advance pipeline opportunities, create forecasts, and drive other performance measurements.
  • Evaluate customer slippage reports to determine customers requiring focused attention and follow-up to regain market share.
  • Influence and execute enablement plans for customer growth with designated manufacturer.

 Account Management:

  • Maintain expertise on manufacturer’s company, products, programs, competition, and market to answer inquires in a professional and accurate manner.
  • Primary function is to sell the products and services of the assigned manufacturer.
  • Work to identify and address customer needs.
  • Partner with internal departments to determine optimal pricing and exceed business objectives.

 

Relationship Management:

  • Build influential relationships internally and externally with manufacturers, sales teams, and customers.
  • Participate in manufacturer and Tech Data sponsored meetings, trade shows, seminars, trainings, and other marketing events.

 

Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working Conditions

Preferred Educational: Bachelor's Degree

Previous Experience (Years & Type): 2+ years of sales experience
