Job Description: Tests modules, sub-assemblies, and assemblies using pre-set and verified manual, semi automated and automated test stations. Such activities may include the following as well as other duties as assigned.
Principal Responsibilities: Performs production tests on units in process, basic tests on assembled units, failure analysis tests on malfunctioning product and final tests prior to product shipment. Detects and isolates routine faults in circuit performance and defective or malfunctioning components. Adjusts, realigns and recalibrates test equipment to required specifications. May assist in troubleshooting, repairing, and resolving technical problems on equipment or components. Job Level Specifications: Acquiring basic knowledge of job content, practices and procedures. Still learning skills necessary to fully perform job. Performs functions that are routine in nature with minimal complexity or variation. Work is performed under supervision and receives detailed instructions to perform tasks. Follows priorities provided to them for performing work. Interacts mostly with immediate peers within assigned work group. Limited interaction and information exchange with other internal departments or work groups may be required to perform role. Impact of decisions is typically contained within assigned work.
Work Experience: Typically less than one year Education and Certification(s): High School Diploma or equivalent Distinguishing Characteristics: Position may require travel.
