As an Identity and Access Administrator (SharePoint), the candidate will provide and support for SharePoint based governance policies and procedures including change management and impact assessments which ensure compliance with governance policies, information architecture and other organizational Security policies. The candidate also assures that access to critical customer, employee and business information is limited to those with a specific business need to know. This individual works closely with business management and IT to understand who is authorized to access information assets and perform critical business and IT functions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

  • Manages the authorization framework in Tech Data’s core systems
  • Maintains SharePoint based site collection features, functionality, user permissions.
  • Performs user account setup, change and deletion and assigns authorization roles based to pre-approved requests
  • Supports access reviews and compliance audits conducted by Internal Audit or 3rd parties
  • Contributes to the continuous improvement of the Identity Management related processes
  • Interfaces with business stakeholders to provide exemplary customer service while balancing the need for governance, SOX Compliance and strong security.
  • Duties will include maintaining SharePoint and Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) based user access, system monitoring, reporting, and troubleshooting while working under general supervision with latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
  • Validate SharePoint business rules and requirements with IT and business partners.
  • Maintains secure SharePoint sites and integrations.
  • Share knowledge with teammates and guide them in the resolution of cloud and SharePoint based technical problems
  • Perform daily identity management tasks associated to the general upkeep and enhancement of SharePoint.
  • Performs account setup, change and deletion and assigns authorization roles based to pre-approved requests.

Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working Conditions

  • Bachelor degree preferably in Computer Science or Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Candidate should have knowledge and exposure to SharePoint 2007, 2010, 2013 versions.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Previous experience in the administration and optimization of SharePoint and Azure AD.
  • High level of personal integrity, and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters and show an appropriate level of judgment and maturity
  • Experience managing Active Directory accounts
  • Exposure to IT Compliance requirements and Audit support
  • Hands-on experience with Operating Systems (Oracle, Windows and/or Unix)
  • Strong customer focus and ability to manage expectations
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel
  • Ability to work in multicultural environments
